Longitudinal seam toolings are available in two types: fixed longitudinal seam and liftable longitudinal seam. The liftable type facilitates the welding of cylinders and plate splicing.

The longitudinal seam series toolings are mainly applied to internal and external longitudinal seam welding of medium and thin-walled cylinders. They can be equipped for PAW, TIG and MIG/MAG welding processes. Suitable for welding carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum and its alloys, titanium and its alloys. Widely used for longitudinal seam fabrication of cryogenic vessels, pharmaceutical containers, shielding housings, pressure vessels and other products. The longitudinal seam toolings can be heightened and fitted with additional safety protection devices according to actual workpiece requirements. The welding process is stable and efficient with programmable control throughout the whole cycle.

Upon customer requirements, the longitudinal seam welding systems can be configured as internal longitudinal seam systems (integrated into plate splicing special machines) and external longitudinal seam welding systems.

It adopts piano-key clamping structure, featuring excellent heat dissipation during welding, minimal workpiece deformation and superior welding quality.

It is suitable for longitudinal seam welding of medium and thin plates or cylinders with thickness ranging from 0.4 mm to 12 mm.

Compatible with welding processes including TIG, MIG/MAG and PAW.

Capable of welding carbon steel, stainless steel, titanium alloy, aluminum alloy and other materials.

Standard tooling series are available according to workpiece structures; customized solutions can also be provided upon requirements.
